How We Use Your Information

Local Storage

All of your reading data is stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults: - Reading statistics and progress - Reading history - App preferences and settings

This data never leaves your device unless you delete the app.

AI Text Summarization

When you use the AI summarization feature (available on compatible devices with iOS 26+): - Text processing is performed entirely on-device using Apple's Foundation Models framework - Your text content is NOT sent to external servers - Summarization happens locally and privately on your device

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

RevenueCat (Subscription Management)

• Purpose: To manage Pro subscriptions and verify purchase status
• Data Collected: Anonymous user identifier, subscription status, purchase information

Google AdMob (Advertising)

• Purpose: To display advertisements to free tier users only

Scholarly does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is designed for general audiences and does not require account creation or personal information.
