All of your reading data is stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults: - Reading statistics and progress - Reading history - App preferences and settings

When you use the AI summarization feature (available on compatible devices with iOS 26+): - Text processing is performed entirely on-device using Apple's Foundation Models framework - Your text content is NOT sent to external servers - Summarization happens locally and privately on your device

You have the right to: - Access Your Data: All your data is stored locally on your device and accessible within the app - Delete Your Data: You can clear your reading history and statistics through the app settings, or delete the app entirely - Opt Out of Ads: Upgrade to Scholarly Pro to remove all advertisements - Control Permissions: Revoke camera, microphone, photo library, or speech recognition permissions at any time through iOS Settings
Scholarly does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is designed for general audiences and does not require account creation or personal information.
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information: - All data is stored locally on your device using iOS's secure storage mechanisms - No authentication or account system means no password breaches - Third-party services (RevenueCat, AdMob) use industry-standard security practices

Scholarly is designed to work globally. Your data is stored locally on your device regardless of your location. Third-party services (RevenueCat and Google AdMob) may transfer data internationally according to their respective privacy policies.
